General Hux surveyed the destruction of D'Qar from the bridge of a First Order Star Destroyer We've caught them in the middle of their evacuation a First Order officer explained Perfect Hux said Snuff out the Resistance once and for all But then Hux heard something surprising Attention this is Commander Poe Dameron of the Republic fleet I have an urgent communiqué for General Hugs
Poe was actually communicating with the First Order as he and his droid BB-8 flew toward the evil army's fleet in his black X-wing There was no way the small starfighter could fight so many ships alone but Poe had a plan This is General Hux of the First Order Hux clarified Your fleet are rebel scum and war criminals Tell your precious princess there will be no terms There will be no surrender Poe kept Hux talking and distracted until his X-wing's booster rocket was fully charged then he sped toward the deadly First Order Dreadnought By that point he was too close to the ship for it to fire at him Poe cut off his conversation with Hux and began taking out the Dreadnought's powerful surface cannons His plan had worked
With most of the Dreadnought's cannons destroyed Resistance A-wings X-wings and heavy bombers joined the battle Bombers keep that formation tight the lead bomber pilot ordered Let's do some damage and buy our fleet some time
Poe just needed to take out the Dreadnought's final working artillery One cannon left Poe said as he lined up his shot But before he could fire an enemy blast hit his weapons systems
